Cashews are a dried fruit that can be eaten daily as they are have less fat compared to other nuts.
Most of their fat is made up of unsaturated fatty acids and oleic acid, which is healthy for the heart and blood vessels.
They are beneficial for fighting osteoporosis, vascular fragility, joint problems and high cholesterol. Flavonoids contained in this dry fruit also protects the eyes from external aggressive agents.
I chose them for my protein muesli and for this reason they are broken in half ! They need to be crunchy but not too bulky :) Here is the ideal size for a perfect crunch! You can enjoy them as a snack or pair them with dried fruit for a handful full of energy!
